Fine Art Photographer and author Ross Pruden is excited to present, "Finding Your Voice Through Photography". This event will teach you how to use photography to express yourself and establish your reputation as an emerging photographer using the smartphone already in your pocket. 

Doing these 3 activities beforehand will enable you to spend class time learning to edit your photos:  

  • take 9-15 photos to edit in the class live
  • create your own Instagram account
  • select 10-20 Instagram accounts you like / want to emulate

First, Ross will cover how to identify what you want to communicate through your work by reflecting on your personal experiences and interests and considering the emotions and messages you want to convey. With a clear vision of message, you can begin to develop your unique visual style and approach to photography. 
 
No fancy cameras needed! All you need is a standard smartphone. The Photos app on an iPhone (or something similar) has an excellent range of editing tools to enhance the quality and visual appeal of your images, including filters, cropping tools, and exposure adjustments.
