An Evening with Bestselling Author Kazu Kibuishi

Spend an evening with Kazu Kibuishi, author and illustrator of the #1 New York Times bestselling Amulet graphic novel series, which is available in 16 languages. Kibuishi also wrote and illustrated the webcomic Copper, and the action-packed series Daisy Kutter. Webcomic artist and noted critic Scott McCloud has said that some of Kazu Kibuishi's work is so beautifully drawn that "it hurts my hands when I look at it." A book signing will take place after the program and books will be available for purchase.

Kazu was born in Tokyo, Japan, but grew up near Los Angeles, California. He began drawing comics at the age of 5. He currently works as a full-time graphic novelist and also speaks at schools. Kazu currently lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife, author Amy Kim Kibuishi, and their children.
