Explore, learn, and create at the library’s crafting station! Supplies and instructions will be available to make something new each month.

September - Textured Rubbing
Place provided items under a piece of paper, then color them with even pressure to copy their patterns. Overlap or combine different textures to make a unique work of art!

October - Make a Dragon Scale
Create a “dragon scale” representing a favorite story, a fear you hope to overcome, or something special about you! Your scale will be added to the library’s Dragon Scarecrow entry for the Worthington Park annual scarecrow festival.

November - Corn Husk Heritage Doll
Fold and wrap corn husks to create a figure, and decorate it as an ancestor from your family.

December - Feelings Chart
Visualize your emotions with a rotating wheel that lets you change the expression of your character. Talk about your feelings, and explore the ways they might show up in life.
