Join Seattle Civic Poet Shin Yu Pai in a conversation with Port Townsend Poet Laureate Conner Bouchard-Roberts about Shin Yu's new poetry collection No Neutral.

Shin Yu Pai, Civic Poet of Seattle (2023-2024), is an acclaimed author with 13 books, including No Neutral (Empty Bowl, 2023). She has received awards from The Academy of American Poets, City of Seattle’s Office of Arts & Culture, 4Culture, and The Awesome Foundation. A 2022 Artist Trust Fellow and former Poet Laureate for The City of Redmond, Shin Yu is also the writer, host, and producer of the award-winning podcast Ten Thousand Things on Asian American stories. 

Conner Bouchard-Roberts is a gardener, bartender, writer, and bookmaker living on the Olympic Peninsula. Winter texts is his publishing practice. He currently dedicates his time to cultivating new works of literature, his bookstore in Uptown Port Townsend, and serving as Port Townsend's first Poet Laureate.
