Jefferson County Public Works - Pedestrian Education Event

Come take a “story walk” and learn how you can walk safely and smartly along our roads! We’ll learn about and walk the new sidewalk on Cedar Avenue, and along other Port Hadlock roads, learning street-smart strategies for walking as we go.

All ages and all abilities are welcome! Those who use wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, and other mobility aids are encouraged to come. This is a great chance to teach children how to walk to school!

Led by pedestrian & bicycling educator, Brian Watson of BicycleTeacher.com in partnership with Jefferson County Public Works and Jefferson County Public Library.
