Program Description

Event Details

TimeSlips is a creative storytelling method that opens storytelling to everyone by replacing the pressure to remember with the freedom to imagine. Although it is fun for anyone, it was originally designed as a way for people with cognitive impairment and their care partners to share in creative expressions together. Since its inception in 1998, TimeSlips became a way for people to grow and connect across the challenges of cognitive disability. Through improvisational storytelling people are empowered to participate, access their imagination and connect with others. Evidence-based research demonstrates that TimeSlips brings meaning and purpose into lives, and is engaging, empowering and lots of fun!
