Join Jefferson County staff on a bicycle tour of Tri-Area's historic and priority development sites.
Jefferson County invites community members to meet at 5:00 pm at the Port Hadlock Jefferson County Library on Monday, July 15, 2024 to join county staff on a 2-hour bicycle tour of key historic sites within the Tri-Area (Port Hadlock, Irondale and Chimacum). The goal of this tour is three-fold:
First, county staff wants to understand which sites should be prioritized for housing development and why.
Second, staff is eager to ensure that community members understand what historic assets currently exist and explore ways of incorporating them into future development.
Thirdly, county staff is eager to share what we've learned from the charrettes that occurred June 11 to 13, and the two workshops that were held at the end of each month in April and May at the Jefferson County Library.
For those of you who are unable to bicycle, the county will post our key stopping points on the county website so that you may join us there.
