Join us online and let your inner artist bloom! Create a bookmark with splashes of watercolor, then add cheerful daisies using ink. Pick up a supply kit at the library or on the bookmobile, or use your own supplies, if you prefer. No experience is necessary; this class is ideal for beginners! Registration is required, please let us know if you’d like a supply kit when you register. Supply kits will be available for pickup beginning October 5. A Zoom link will be added to the library’s Events Calendar on October 27.

Included in supply kit:

  • a watercolor pan set
  • watercolor paper cut to bookmark size (3x9in)
  • drawing paper or scratch paper
  • mixing palette
  • a paint brush (round in larger sizes such as 8 or 10)
  • .5mm black gel pen

Optional items:

  • washi tape or painter’s tape for dividing the paper if it isn’t cut to bookmark size ahead of time
  • hole punch
  • piece of yarn, string, or ribbon

You will need to supply:

  • Paper towels
  • Water

Get started ahead of the class! Watch Easy WATERCOLOR bookmarks by Melinda Howard. Part of this video will be viewed in our class. Watching the video is not required.
