In Battlesnake, participants code snakes that crawl around in an on-screen arena. Snakes must find food when they're hungry, avoid running into the walls or other snakes, and not tie them selves into knots. The snake that stays alive the longest wins!
Learn what it takes to code your snake, and give it the smarts it needs to keep alive. Hone your coding skills with the help of industry professionals, then compete in an online tournament with your friends!
Those new to coding will learn JavaScript, node.js, and an environment called repl.it. Experienced coders can use any of the popular languages, and several different environments.
