Misinformation in the modern era has challenged established media frameworks and damaged information literacy around the world. Identifying misinformation is the greatest challenge facing informed voters today. Learn simple tools such as lateral reading, the SIFT method to help determine whether online content can be trusted, and the CRAAP test used to spot so-called “fake news.”
This one-hour class is followed by a 30-minute question-and-answer session and time to practice what you've learned.
